Fatal Attraction

Michael Douglas stars as a successful, happily married lawyer who has a weekend affair while his wife is out of town. However, when he tries to end it she refuses to accept his rejection and pursues him, with ever increasing rage. The ending was changed after preview audiences disliked it and indeed this special directors original gives a different perspective on the final conclusion.

On the chilly morning of August 31st 1888, the body of a woman was found on the pavement of Buck's Row in Whitechapel, London. Her name was Mary Ann Nicholls. Two weeks later another girl was found and by the end of September Jack the Ripper was known all over England. Based on the novel by Alan Moore, this interpretation focuses on the story through the eyes of Mary Kelly and her unfortunate circle of friends. Is the Ripper targeting them with a purpose and if so, for what reason? Johnny Depp stars as Inspector Abberline who tries to unmask the identity of the Ripper before any more girls are killed.
