Royal Air Force At War

During the Second World War the RAF Film Production Unit travelled to all theatres of war, braving danger as they flew on combat missions to bring back the best film of RAF operations. The film was made into regular newsreels and shown at RAF bases all over the country. These films are now released for the first time in their entirety. Includes an amazing collection of previously unseen films and rare footage from all theatres of war.

David Helfgott - A Musical Journey

SOUTH BANK SHOW profile of the Australian classical pianist David Helfgott, whose battle with mental illness was documented in the Oscar-winning film SHINE. This release contains over 40 minutes of previously unseen concert footage recorded at the Royal Nottingham Concert Hall. Performances include Mendelssohn's 'Andante & Rondo Capriccioso in E Minor', Liszt's 'Un Sospiro Concert Etude No. 3' and 'Hungarian Rhapsody No.6', and Beethoven's 'Appassionata Sonata No.23 in F Minor'.

Farscape astronaut John Crichton is sucked into a worm hole during an experimental space mission and swept across time and space into a parallel universe. He is catapulted into a raging battle and his out-of-control spacecraft accidentally destroys an alien 'Peacekeeper' attacker. Captured by an escaping prisoner ship he joins with a group of aliens who are fleeing from the Peacekeepers.
