Amandla!

A celebration of 10 years of freedom in South Africa with an emphasis on the importance of music in the struggle for the abolition of Apartheid. The music served to encourage and enlighten the people across and within various physical boundaries. The word Amandla, means power and this would be shouted at a mass gathering, to which the crowd would respond with, 'To The People'. Also included in this release is a CD soundtrack containing artists such as: Hugh Masekela, Miriam Makeba, Abdullah Ibrahim, Vusi Mahlasela and others.
