12 year-old Brian is like any other kid until the lights go out at night and he is tormented by nightmarish apparitions. At first his older brother Dale doesn't believe the stories, but when their parents leave them alone one night the nightmare really begins. A raging storm causes a power cut and the house is plunged into complete darkness. The two brothers must stick together and stand up against these mysterious forces of darkness.

Sea Inside, The

He now wants to die and employs Julia, a lawyer, to present his case in court as he believes that living is a right, not an obligation. Sampedro's past life is revealed, highlighting his once active life. His mind wanders as he listens to opera, thinking of the sea, the scene for him of so much pleasure and pain. The film won an Oscar (R) at the Academy Awards 2005 for Best Foreign Language Film Of The Year.
