Gripping psychological thriller starring Jodie Foster as Meg Altman who is newly divorced and looking for a home for herself and her young daughter, Sarah. They finally settle on a large New York brownstone which has, along with the usual rooms, a vault-like room, stockpiled with food, water and a closed-circuit video system - a Panic Room. On their first night in the house Meg wakes up and hears noises somewhere downstairs in the house. Looking on the closed-circuit monitor she sees a group of men arguing downstairs. She runs to her daughter's room and the pair of them hide inside the Panic Room. Unfortunately for them, that's where the burglars also want to be...
