Recess - Taking The Fifth Grade

After 'Recess' officially ended on television, a further 13 episodes were commissioned. Unfortunately they were never broadcast on TV and instead were edited into three feature length movies. This release features the 'Recess' gang as they finally get promoted to the fifth grade. TJ protests certain changes in school and Spinelli decides she is too old for Halloween. The gang also decide to join a secret club.

Ad agency BBDO gets involved, Hugo Boss donate suits, Tesco products are rebranded and the city of Prague is covered with the Czech Dream logo through JC Decaux billboards, ads and pamphlets. There's even a catchy jingle broadcast nationally on radio and television. No one could have predicted what happened on May 31, 2003, when some 4000 people turned up in hopes of being the first through the door and getting the best deals in town on everything from toilet paper to white goods, only to find an open field with a huge shop facade...
