The development of the Blitzkrieg or 'lightning war' strategy which the German troops used to good effect in the Second World War. Just after noon on August 31st 1939, Hitler sent orders that Poland was to be invaded at dawn the next day. Germany had invented a new form of warfare - Blitzkrieg. They thrashed and crashed their way onto the second wave punk scene with chaotic abandon and established themselves as one of the most outspoken and confrontational bands on the scene. Their distinct sound was the perfect backdrop for their venomous attitude, and many thought their appeal would be short lived. Of course, in true Disorder style the band are still around over twenty five years later!
