A family of mice, are bulldozed from their underground home. In their search for a suitable place to live, they end up at the Atwell's house. The mouse family begin to explore the exciting scene in the Atwell's living room, with it's Christmas tree and decorations. The Atwell's pet cat soon realises their presence and chases the mice around the room. As they run round they meet an array of characters that magically come to life and talk about the various meanings of Christmas. The story is inspired from the classic poem, 'The Night Before Christmas', by Clement Clark Moore.
