After checking into a rehab clinic in the Arizona desert Jerry starts an affair with fellow recovering addict Kitty. Together they set of for a brighter future.

On 4th June 1944 a boarding party from the USS Guadalcanal seized control of the submarine and in doing so took a vital step towards ensuring Allied control of the seas. This programme documents the capture in great detail using original footage of the key events. Also includes a look at the complexities of submarine warfare and pays homage to the heroes of previous underwater battles.
