Gambler Sky Masterson, (Marlon Brando), will bet on anything and takes a bet that he can romance Sarah Brown of the Save-a-Soul Mission which is about to collapse due to lack of customers. He promises Sarah that he will find her twelve sinners and Sarah goes to Havana with him and they immediately fall in love. When they return Sarah finds the Mission is being used as a gambling joint and is convinced that Masterson has used her.
