Lupin III - Secret Of Twilight Gemini, The : short review
The legend states that the Twilight diamond is the key to a Moroccan treasure of immense value. When the international thief Lupin is given the Twilight in an act of faith, he sets off for Morocco. But Lupin soon finds he has a posse of people following him and must fight off masked assassins, underground sects, a whip-yielding psychopath, corrupt cops as well as a determined Inspector Zenigata. Finding the treasure is going to be a little more difficult than he imagined!
When the ruins of a mystical chinese sect are excavated, correspondent Sharon Gale is allowed to witness the opening of the heartstone tomb. Savage murders soon follow, the victims allbeing members of the same clan, the powerful Belfardo family. Marine Tony McKee is accused of the murders by Senator Belfardo but he soon realises his realtives are being killed in a Chinese vendetta. Combat masters ex-Captain Andrew Buck and Major Joe Haines are assigned to clear their fellow marine of murder charges.
