
The story of Martin, a restless philosophy professor who is tired of teaching and troubled by the happiness of his ex-wife. His life makes a dramatic turn when he meets the young, beautiful but far from intellectual Cecillia with whom he embarks upon a sexually-charged affair. Martin claims to be bored by Cecilia but cannot stop seeing her. When he discovers she is also seeing a younger man, Martin becomes consumed with a jealousy that threatens to consume him.
