Out Of Town - Vol. 5

In these walks to out of the way places in the North of England, Eric Robson and Raq find the secret gardens of Rivington Pike, the Extraordinary Roman camps at Cawthorne in Yorkshire and the hermit's cave on Castle Crag in Borrowdale. They stroll down the Tyne Valley, visit the historic crosses at Bewcastle and Wreay and meet the Grimshaws of Goyt. A Lesson In Murder - Foyle is preparing for the expected German invasion when he is called upon to investigate the death of a conscientious objector in prison. Eagle Day - A stabbed body is found in a bombed house providing Foyle with a difficult challenge. His pilot son, Andrew, also disappears at the same time while on a secret assignment.
