Tony Rice - The Guitar Method Of

Two-part instructional set filled with conversation and great playing that we've come to expect from the world's premier flatpick guitarist. In a wide-ranging and detailed session, Tony Rice demonstrates his technique and provides thoughtful insights into a variety of guitar skills, from tuning up to improvising solos. He discusses the powerful influences of Clarence White and Doc Watson on his early development, slows down his signature licks and shows how he produces his trademark crosspicking style. Tony has geared this lesson for aspiring players of all levels, teaching both relatively easy pieces as well as more challenging ones. These include bluegrass and country songs: The Last Thing On My Mind, Bury Me Beneath The Willow, Nine Pound Hammer and Wildwood Flower. Appalachian fiddle tunes: Stony Lonesome, Billy In The Lowground, Little Sadie, Salt Creek and Jerusalem Ridge and Tony's ballad arrangements: Shenandoah and Danny Boy. Wyatt Rice joins his brother in a demonstration of how to play in a minor key and helps illustrate Tony's highly regarded back up technique. The brothers then finish the set with an impromptu version of the classic I Am a Pilgrim.

On October 21st, 1994, three student filmmakers, Heather Donahue, Joshua Leonard and Michael Williams hiked into Maryland's Black Hills Forest to make a film about a local legend 'The Blair Witch'. The group were never heard from again. One year later the footage documenting their five day journey through the Forest was found revealing the terrifying events that led to their disappearance.

Cahit, with a hangover from hell, is very surprised when he receives a proposal of marriage from this beautiful, crazy girl he has just met in hospital. The biggest surprise of all however, is the turnaround that occurs in both their lives as Cahit and Sibel come back to their roots, a lost culture, and themselves.
