John Lennon - Sweet Toronto

In 1969, John Lennon was invited to the Sweet Toronto Peace Festival as an audience member but replied that he would only come if he could play. So it was that the Plastic Ono Band - Lennon, Yoko Ono, legendary guitarist Eric Clapton and renowned musicians Klaus Voorman (bass) and Alan White (drums) - played their first and last performance. This unique event also featured individual numbers by such all-time rock 'n' roll greats as Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard, allowing Lennon to introduce Yoko to the heroes of his childhood. Life
