Dave is a struggling writer who is trying to unravel the mystery behind the death of his younger brother, Trent. The door is opened for Dave when Trent's spirit appears and hands him a ghostly DVD. The video causes Dave to violently hallucinate, which shows him that both Trent and his girlfriend, Beth, were seduced by Tracey - a malevolent, drug-dealer with supernatural powers who ensnared them in a world of violence, heroin, and pornography. Before long, Dave meets Tracey himself, and is sucked into a downward spiral that threatens to destroy his very soul.

Episodes included are: Giving And Taking, Believed Killed, Into The Dark and The Straight And Narrow. (These episodes were filmed in black and white because of industrial action by technicians over a pay dispute because they weren't receiving extra remuneration for the extra skills required for colour transmissions.)
