Bulldog Bash 2004

Welcome to the 2004 Bulldog Bash, a hardcore festival run by bikers for bikers and not for the faint of heart! This unique UK event has been held for the past 18 years at Long Marston airfield within spitting distance of the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon. The Bulldog Bash is organised by the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club (England & Wales) for lovers of all things fast, metallic and exotic. Join Louise Brady as she finds out what makes this biker-fest so popular with such a diverse range of people. Accompanied by Baz, one of the organisers, she visits the drag strip, which always attracts super fast cars and bikes including many jet-powered drag vehicles, such as the amazing Fireforce 1 and 2 jet cars. Another popular event is 'Run What You Brung', which sees amateurs hurtling down the track as fast as they dare! Also on show are many weird and wonderful creations in the custom bike tent, which can only be described as works of art. And for the first time this year, there was a custom car exhibition as well.

Shanghai Noon/ Shanghai Nights

Two films. Shanghai Noon - Jackie Chan is Chon Wang, a guard to the Chinese emperor who is sent to 1880's America when Princess Pei-Pei is kidnapped. Separated from the rest of his party, Chon teams up with hilarious bungling outlaw Roy O'Bannon to overcome the Indians, corrupt sheriffs, lynch mobs and drunken horses that stand between him and his princess. Shanghai Nights - The sequel to Shanghai Noon reunites Chon Wang and Roy O'Bannon and this time they have a score to settle in London. Chon's estranged father is murdered by a Chinese rebel who then escapes to England. Chon and Roy travel to London followed by Con's sister, Lin, who has the same idea. When Lin uncovers a plot to murder the royal family, no one will believe her. With the help of an Inspector from Scotland Yard and a ten year old urchin, Chon is determined to avenge his father's death while at the same time keeping Roy away from his sister.

Carmen

Rehearsals for a flamenco version of Bizet's opera provide a 'play with a play' structure to this film, as Carmen, an actress/dancer and her choreographer (Antonio Gades) fall in love. The superb dance sequences, and the explosive relationship between Carmen and her rival make this a memorable film.

Dressed To Fight

When the infamous swordsman Ting Chewha seeks to escape his reputation he is followed by vengeful fighters, evil spirits and hoards of jealous women. He soon finds out that being a nice guy saving damsels in distress can get him killed, as he is thrown into a conspiracy where he is the target of assasination by a secret society of fighters. When friend becomes foe, no one can be trusted and Ting must fight his way through 12 secret society guards in order to escape and rescue a love from his past.
