TT 1948

A nostalgic visual record of the 1948 Isle of Man TT which saw a record number of entries with Norton, Velocette and Moto Guzzis dominating. Stars of the post War era were Freddie Frith, Bob Foster, Artie Bell and Omobono Tenni. Features all the pre-race activities, the warm up and the Grand Parade as the riders are marched to their starting grid flanked by Boy Scouts.

Operation Petticoat

The USS Sea Tiger is in serious trouble and the skipper (Cary Grant) and his junior officer (Tony Curtis) scavenge for parts and supplies to make the submarine seaworthy. During an enemy air attack they are forced out to sea prematurely and as they limp along taking in water they encounter five stranded army nurses. The girls come aboard and take over the renovation of the submarine... and the sub ends up a blushing pink!
