Battlefield - Pearl Harbor

Outstanding documentary detailing Japan's controversial attack on Pearl Harbour on 7 December 1941. Not only was the USA taken by surprise, so were Hitler and Mussolini. The attack itself was vicious - 350 carrier-borne aircraft struck with such ferocity that no battleship was left undamaged, 200 aircraft destroyed and 2,400 people were killed. The loss to Japan was a mere 29 aircraft, but the eventual impact would be the destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
