W.C. Fields third screen appearance is a warm-hearted comedy in which he plays Professor Eustace McGargle, a disreputable confidence trickster and guardian of an orphaned circus waif, Sally. Intending to return Sally to her grandparents, McGargle learns that her wealthy and esteemed grandfather is a stern judge and harbours a deep contempt for shysters. Soon McGargle finds he is wanted by the police and chased by bootleggers in his attempts to protect Sally.

Laurence Olivier - Boxset

Hamlet - Winning Oscars (R) for Best Film and Best Actor in 1949 and one Bafta, this still stands as the definitive film version of the tragedy of Shakespeare's Danish prince who couldn't make up his mind. Olivier is magnificent in a production filmed in the actual castle of Elsinore. Henry V - Olivier won an Oscar (R) in this rousing version of Shakespeare's tale which he also directed. The Agincourt battle scenes are magnificent and the Walton film score is superb.
