Man Or Astroman formed in Auburn, USA in 1992 and quickly became a crucial part of the instrumental Surf Rock movement headed by the likes of Laika & The Cosmonauts and the legendary Dick Dale (whos Miserlou was featured in the film Pulp Fiction in 1994, giving the scene a massive shot of publicity).Man Or Astro-man? were highly prolific throughout the 1990s releasing nine albums between 1993-1999, and gaining a strong and devoted fanbase throughout the world. The bands live shows were always highly entertaining and the one featured here is no exception. Filmed during a UK tour in September 1994 at Edinburghs Castle Rock venue, the band treat Scotlands capital city to one of the craziest nights of Surf Punk Rock ever witnessed.
