September 1st 2001 is a night England fans will never forget. The impossible happened when Germany were beaten 1-5 in the Olympic Stadium in Munich. Into the second half and Owen scored again and soon he had a hat trick. Beckham seemed to be everywhere on the pitch and was the perfect captain. A few of the players have seen the match three or four times ... I've also watched it three or four times and it gets better each time.'
