Road Home, The

Wonderful romantic story based upon the novel Remembrance by Shi Bao. City businessman Luo Yusheng returns home to his childhood village in the north of China for the funeral of his father, the village teacher. His elderly mother insists that all the traditional burial customs must be observed even though times have changed. Luo realises that he will never persuade her to change her mind and begins to reminisce about the stories of his parents courtship. Their remarkable story is told in flashback.

Creature From The Black Lagoon - During a scientific expedition in the upper reaches of the Amazon a group of scientists discover a 'Gill Man' living in the Black Lagoon, which they believe to be the amphibious missing link. The scientist manage to capture the creature who proceeds to fall in love with the head scientist's female assistant. The creature manages to escape taking with him the object of his affection and the hunt is on to find them before it is too late.

Matt Lee Whitlock (Denzel Washington) is the chief of police at Banyan Key, Florida, where he is both loved by his local community and respected by his peers. Suddenly he is faced with needing to find the solution to a double homicide when he becomes the prime suspect in the case.
