Well, open to all except Maggie's mother, Lila, who is in the process of getting divorced and has just decided to move to Vancouver to stay with her daughter but knows nothing of her relationship with Kim.

Full Moon In Paris

Star Pascale Ogier died tragically at the age of 24, just after completing this film which earned her the Best Actress Award at the Venice Film Festival. She plays a young designer who lives with her boyfriend in the suburbs, but tries to find some independence by renting her own apartment in Paris. A touching, funny film about human relationships.

Silent Movie

A has-been movie director tries to stage a comeback in the 70's by making a silent film, complete with frenetic musical accompaniment, guest star appearances and subtitles. Full of the usual Brooks zaniness and invention - the only word spoken in the whole film is by famous mime artist, Marceau.

Vera Drake

London, 1950. Vera Drake lives with her husband Stan and their grown-up children, Sid and Ethel. They are not rich, but they are a happy, close-knit family. Vera cleans houses, Stan is a mechanic in his brother's garage, Sid works for a tailor and Ethel works in a factory testing lightbulbs. But selfless Vera has a sideline, which she keeps secret from all those around her... Without accepting payment she helps young women to end their unwanted pregnancies. Mike Leigh won the David Lean Award for achievement in Direction and Imelda Staunton won best Actress in a leading role at the Baftas (R) 2005. The film also won an Award for Costume Design.
