One of the frankest portrayals of male sexuality ever seen in American cinema, a love story and portrayal of a lost soul unable to forget his past. Bud Clay loads his racing bike into the back of his van and starts a cross-country odyssey to Los Angeles after finishing a race in New Hampshire. During the trip, he meets three very different women: Violet, wholesome, all-American gas station attendant Lilly, a fellow lost soul he connects with at a highway rest stop and Rose, a Las Vegas prostitute. However, throughout his journey, Bud cannot escape his intense feelings for the love of his life, Daisy and plans to reconcile with her when he reaches L.A.
Ticket To Ride - Belgian Rail Freight Today
The port of Antwerp is one of the major sources of railfreight in Europe. Mile upon mile of rail-connected quays and busy container terminals. 185 freight trains a day! This programme examines the plans to increase capacity: at the port, the port approaches and on the route to Germany. Spend a day with an independent freight forwarder at Boom, help Mr Voss unload a rail van of Italian made Honda mopeds and load some Pringle crisps bound for Bayern, and then follow the traffic all the way to Germany via the Mass bridge at Vise. We also follow the route to Luxembourg and watch the freight flows through the stunning Ardennes. At Charleroi we film a new breed of mini container terminal and see how its fits into the European 'Quality net system'. Visit the quays at Antwerp and Zeebrugge, take a ride on a container train and watch the stevedores at work. At Nord yard we film in the control room and on the hump to see how NMBS / SNCB process 3500 wagons a day. This film was made with the assistance of B-Cargo.
