Abby Wallace (Michelle Collins) is a single mother with two children. Seeing an advertisement for a young family to move to the Scottish island of Ronansay, she enlists the help of her best friend Kenny Marsh (Paul Kaye) to play the part of her husband and help her run a B&B.
