Bringing Out The Dead

Martin Scorcese reunites with Taxi Driver writer Paul Schrader for this story of three nights in the life of Frank Pierce, a New York paramedic. Insomniac and exhausted, Frank is tormented by visions of a girl whose life he could not save, and has lost the ability to distance himself from his job. Through his interactions with his partners, the half-mad Tom, food obsessed Larry and devout Marcus, he tries to regain the will to carry on. But when he meets Mary, that he discovers a new purpose in life.
