Feature film of the TV comedy. When Bernard Hedges discovers that the notorious class of 5C have not been invited to a two week stay at a country recreation centre, he is furious. He goes to see the headmaster and other teachers and gives an impassioned speech on how 5C would benefit from a trip to the countryside. Finally, they are allowed to go and immediately they bring the school into disrepute, causing havoc all around. When they hear how Mr Hedges fought for them to even be there, they decide to put their house in order and become model pupils, unfortunately cruel disaster strikes...
