The goal came at the beginning of the second half when Clarke arrowed a superb diving header past Barnett in the Arsenal goal and has become probably the most famous goal in Leeds United history. In their series of classical ballet productions from La Scala TDK releases a DVD recording of La Bayad?re with Natalia Makarova?s choreography. Her version, based on the original 1877 creation by Marius Petipa, has become the standard since the famous Kirov Company made it popular worldwide. The material for this DVD was filmed at the May 2006 revival of Makarova?s 1992 production for Milan?s La Scala and features two of international ballet?s stars. The Bayad?re Nikiya is created by Svetlana Zakharova, now one of the youngest ballerinas at Moscow?s Bolshoi Ballet, while Roberto Bolle, the primo ballerino ?toile in the Corpo di ballo del Teatro alla Scala, dances Solor. Zakharova and Bolle have previously appeared together as the protagonists in TDK?s DVDs of the La Scala Swan Lake and Giselle. In the present production they are joined by the up-and-coming young French ballerina Isabelle Bruson dancing Gamzatti. This DVD provides the viewer with a closer look at the dancers, their interpretation and their artistic endeavours, and includes an informative booklet essay by the eminent ballet critic Horst Koegler.
