Hold That Ghost: Two bumbling service station attendants are left as the sole beneficiaries in a gangster's will. Their trip to claim their fortune is sidetracked when they are stranded in a haunted house along with several other strangers. In The Navy: When crooner Russ Raymond (Dick Powell) opts to avoid the spotlight by changing his name and joining the Navy, his pals Smokey Adams (Bud Abbott) and Pomeroy Watson (Lou Costello) are on hand to help cover his tracks. However, journalist Dorothy Roberts has spotted Russ on board, and is determined to get a snapshot of him in order to reveal his true identity.
