The English Patient - The passionate and epic drama of two haunting love stories set in North Africa and Italy before and during World War II, based on the Booker Prize-winning novel by Michael Ondaatje and winner of seven Oscars. The story is told in retrospect through the history of four characters who find themselves in a ruined monastery in Italy at the end of the war. Each is a victim, damaged in some way by the events of the war. Slowly they reveal their stories and we discover the history of each character.
