A lot can happen in 30 Miles. Two strangers travel the paths of deception in this road movie from first-time director Ryan Harper. Anthony is a successful black movie agent on his way to a wedding in Las Vegas. Speeding down the highway through the Nevada desert, he encounters a stranded white drifter, Ernie (Rusty Gray), and stops to give him a lift. The two men hit it off easily and soon let their guards down, but as each begins revealing the details of his past, the other recognises the secrets his companion hides. As the pair hurtle through the night, their amiability turns into enmity, and ultimately they realise how much can change in just 30 miles...
