Three films. Chinese Heroes - A ninja clan, headed by the fiendish Kota, have been attacking peaceful villages. During one of these raids, two friends, Sayo and Kyoko are separated. Sayo joins up with a group of others who plan to find Master Way, a legendary martial arts teacher. They believe that he will be able to teach them the skills needed to fight back against the evil clan. Undiscovered Tomb - In a remote area near the border between India and China lies an Undiscovered Tomb. Two ancient stone tablets are said to hold the secret of the tomb and Ivy Chan, an archeologist, plans to find it. An expedition is arranged which includes her adopted daughter and a wealthy socialite called Michael Lui, the owner of one of the tablets. They encounter perilous conditions, hostile tribes, dangerous insects and animals as well as supernatural forces and a double-cross from inside the group. The King Boxer - A man in training to become a king boxer finds himself called upon to fight the evil Wang. The Martial master must save the school, the girl and generally be a hero.

History Of Horse Racing

Racing entered the 20th Century as the preserve of royalty and the rich but during the last 100years it has changed radically and the sport is now a worldwide industry with mass appeal. The 'Story of Horse Racing' tells the story of fortunes won and lost on horses that became household names and of the extraordinary varied cast of characters who have punctuated the sports' history. Racing is really two sports, the high finance and fashion of the flat, contrasting with the grit and sometimes grim realities of the jumping scene. The first part of this programme concentrates solely on flat racing and includes rare black & white footage from the turn of the century of the major racing occasions, especially the coverage of the early Derbys with the brilliance of pint-sized Sir Gordon Richards and the ruthless artistry of Lester Piggott, described as the greatest jockey of all time. Central to the second programme on jumps racing is the rise of the Cheltenham Festival to its unique place in today's sporting calendar and the men and women who have carved their names in the record book - Vincent O'Brien, Pat Taffe, Fred Winter, Jenny Pitman, John Francome and Tony McCoy, who became the winning-most jockey of all time in August 2002. Of course, no story of horse racing would be complete without highlights from the world's best known race, the Grand National and we see how it has maintained its place in the heart of the nation through the triumphs of horses such as Red Rum and Aldanitti.
