Superman Returns

Following a mysterious absence of several years, the MAN OF STEEL comes back to Earth in the epic, SUPERMAN RETURNS. While an old enemy plots to render him powerless once and for all, Superman faces the heartbreaking realization that the woman he loves, Lois Lane, has moved on with her life. Or has she? One person who isn't happy with Superman's return is his long time nemesis Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey) who is fresh out of prison has another scheme up his sleeve. Superman must overcome his most daring obstacles yet and reclaim the heart of Lois and go out to prove that the world needs an example to follow... and a hero.

Family-man cop Murtaugh teams with edgy, Vietnam-vet Riggs, to whom life is of little consequence since his wife's death. Together they go after a drug syndicate run by ex CIA thugs, finding that their differing natures mesh to make a particularly effective fighting team. Slick, stylish action that never lets up, and Mel's blue eyes probably converted more female viewers to slam-bang havoc than any other movie to date.
