The Royal and Ancient golf Club had little hesitation in bringing the Millennium Open Championship back to St Andrew - it is after all the home of golf. The Old Course has remained fundamentally unchanged for over five hundred years, but was recently lengthened to present a challenge to the game's modern professionals. However, without the wind to protect it, the links succumbed to an awesome display of power and control from the world number one Tiger Woods, who became only the 5th player in history to complete the grand slam of Major Championships. It also witnessed an emotional and perhaps final Open appearance of Jack Nicklaus, possibly the greatest player the game has ever seen.

Kicking And Screaming

A lively comedy about the cutthroat, hyper-competitive world... of little league soccer. Phil (Will Ferrell) and his father, Buck (Robert Duvall), have had a difficult relationship, with Buck constantly competing with his son and upstaging him at every turn. From this experience, Phil determines to raise his own son, Sam, differently. He signs up to the position of assistant coach to Sam's soccer team, the Tigers. However, when the head coach leaves, Phil is goaded by Buck into heading the team. Buck himself, just happens to coach the pre-eminent team of the league, the Gladiators. Old scores come into play as Phil keeps raising the stakes in his all-out attempt to win the league championship. Can father and son put their rocky past behind them and do what's best for their own children (and grandchild!) and realise that soccer is just a game? Not a chance!
