Originally produced as a development of the well-known Gipsy Moth, the Tiger Moth went on to become one of the world's most famous training aircraft. During the Second World War it provided the majority of RAF pilots with their elementary flying training. It has since been used for every kind of aerial work. including air taxis, ambulances, crop sprayers and radio controlled bombers but the Tiger is probably best known as the epitome of the bi-plane, a crowd pleaser at aerobatic displays.
